Brock ISD is recognized as the home of one of the most outstanding educational opportunities in the area.  Fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency, the district has earned the highest possible rating,  Exemplary, from TEA.  High school and middle school campuses achieved Exemplary ratings in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003.  The middle school campus achieved Exemplary ratings in 2007 as well.  The elementary campus also ranked Exemplary in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2006.

Outstanding Curriculum and Faculty

A well-rounded curriculum serves as foundation for BISD,  with the belief that all children can learn.  Learning opportunities are, therefore, tailored to the individual needs of the student.   Brock ISD teachers are professional, well-trained, and dedicated to helping children learn. These outstanding educators are recognized as leaders throughout the area and have conducted staff development and in-service training for many local and state professional workshops.

Growing Community

Located in Parker County and spanning 105 square miles, Brock ISD has recently doubled in student population, with approximately 705 students in grades K-12.   The current tax rate is $1.50 for maintenance and operation and $.161 for debt payment, for a total tax rate of $1.661.

The FIRST rating is the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas and Brock received a "Superior Achievement" rating for the 2003-2004 school year.

New Facilities:  Elementary/Middle School

The heart of BISD is community involvement.  Past voters of Brock ISD approved a $4.2 million bond to build a new elementary/middle school facility. The complex has approximately 43,000 sq. feet of new construction, which consists of classrooms, offices, library, computer lab, cafeteria, gym, and band/music room.

Excellent High School

In addition, outstanding secondary facilities are part of Brock ISD commitment to excellence in education. The high school campus covers more than  55,000 sq. feet and boasts state-of-the-art classrooms and equipment.  Modern computer labs, an excellent library, protected internet capabilities , and fully-equipped science labs contribute to this excellent facility.
