Superintendent's Corner

Welcome to the Home of Champions, Brock ISD!   We at Brock are proud of our tradition of excellence in every form of academic and extracurricular programs.  Our students regularly compete at the local, state, and national levels. We were honored as the Texas Lone Star Cup champions for 2A in 2008-2009, 2009-2010, 2014-2015 and a fourth time in 2015-2016 in the 3A division.  That award honors the best all around academic and extracurricular school program in each of the UIL classifications each year.  A 6th place finish in 2010-11, a 3rd place finish for 2011-12, a 2nd place finish in 2012-13, and a 6th place finish in 2013-14 is a testament to the efforts of our staff and students to continue to compete for the top spot in the Lone Star Cup competition. This simply means we have become one of the best, if not the best school in our class, when comparing academic and extracurricular activities to the other 3A school districts in the state.

Our staff reflects the high expectations and goals set for each student in our district. We have consistently recruited the best teachers and coaches available, and this philosophy of recruiting and retaining quality instructors has been the basis of Brock ISD success in every area. We offer more on campus dual credit courses in English, math, science, history, etc. than any school in the area. Several of our teachers have Master degrees in their teaching fields and provide these college level courses to our students, which save their parents thousands of dollars in college expenses. In addition, our students have and continue to compete at the state level in many academic and extracurricular activities such as headline writing, debate, math, calculator applications, speaking events, boys and girls basketball, baseball, track, cross country, tennis, volleyball, softball, football, etc. Our state championships continue to add to the tradition of excellence at Brock ISD.

We pride ourselves as a district for providing great academic and extracurricular programs for our students. The district student population is growing, and our student demographics are changing as a result. As we strive to meet the needs of all students, we are open to suggestions as to how we can improve our programs or better communicate with our community.

We hope you as a public will continue to be involved in our schools and actively support our students and staff. If we can be of any assistance to you, do not hesitate to call our campus or district administrative offices.

Brock is the place to be!  Go Eagles!!!
